Gutter downspout tee connection
Is there a tee connection that will connect 2 downspouts to the same run off pipe? If so, any idea where to get one? If you mean run one down spout into another .You dont have room for all the water there in just one. We use to make like a funnel out of sheet metal flatten it some and have two spouts run in to it as it went into a larger runoff pipe. ED Thanks for the response. I have 2 downspouts about 6' from each other-both running into an underground run off pipe, which is clogged and probably leaking. I'd like to connect them at the bottom with a tee and then run the water off above ground in an additional length of downspout, which has enough pitch to direct the water away from the house. The 2 3 down spout have to go into a 4 for both to run off. Id put a 4 pvc in the ground running away from the home and tie both 3 to it. ED I have a double level roof and I want to tie the two gutters into one down spout that goes into a drainage pipe buried untder the ground. From what I read, there would be too much water flowing from the two gutters into the one 3 downspout? There must be a T-connector available somewhere. Can a gutter contractor make one if they don't have them? You can are a tin shop can . Make like a flat funnel so the two down spouts can go into the top And the bottom can fit into the 4 pvc Home depot sells a rectangular pvc downspout funnel. The large opening is roughly 9 x 3; the small opening is 3 x 2.5; the unit is roughly 12 in height. Both standard downspouts fit nicely, side-by-side. Suggest constructing a cover such that the downspouts go through 2 openings, and the rest of the large rectangle is covered. This will prevent debris from clogging the funnel. Of course this doesn't matter if the gutters are not protected from debris.
