Cook Walleye Fish

Deep Fried Walleye Fingers

Cheesy walleye casserole is a dish that is like even by the non-fish eater. It is easy to assemble and requires short preparation time. If you have children at home, involve them in the process because this is definitely one dish they will all enjoy eating and preparing.

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Take a 9 x 13-inch inch baking dish and grease it either with butter or cooking spray. Place the walleye in the dish and set aside.

2. Chop the onion into small pieces and place in a frying pan. Sauté the onion in butter until it is tender.

3. When the onion is tender, add the soup, milk, swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, curry powder and pepper. Cook over low heat, stirring continuously, until the cheeses have melted.

4. Take the mixture from the frying pan and pour on top of the fish in the casserole dish.

5. Sprinkle the cracker crumbs and Parmesan cheese on top of the mixture. This will allow the top to become crunchy.

6. Bake the casserole for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
