Make No Boil Lasagna







Everyone loves lasagna and you can save time making this favorite dish with some of the excellent no boil lasagna noodles on the market. Although these are a huge improvement, they tend to soak up a lot of sauce in order to soften, and require lengthy cooking. These steps will show you make a delicious no-boil lasagna that softens and cooks quickly.


Instructions


1. Fill lasagna pan with warm water. Add no-boil lasagna noodles and let them soak for five minutes. Preheat oven to 400 F.


2. Drain noodles on a dish towel while you wipe out the pan.


3. Put one cup of sauce in bottom of pan.








4. Place four noodles on top of the sauce in bottom of pan; add layer of sauce, vegetables or cheese.


5. Repeat according to recipe, ending with layer of noodles and topping with grated cheese.


6. Cover tightly with foil and bake for 20 minutes or until a sharp knife slips easily through all layers of noodles.


7. Remove foil, change setting to "broil" and broil until cheese on top starts to brown.


8. Remove from oven, let set for 10 minutes, cut in squares and serve.
