Make Quince Vodka







Vodka is one of the most accessible liquors used in making various cocktails. With a only a few mixers and liqueurs you can make a variety of cocktails each with its own distinctive taste. This is make a vodka cocktail known as quince vodka.


Instructions


Prepare the Ingredients


1. Wash the quinces thoroughly and remove all the furry bits.


2. Grate the entire quince including the core, pips and skin.


3. Place all of the grated quinces into the jar and add the sugar.


4. Pour the vodka into the jar and shake the mixture thoroughly until the sugar dissolves.


5. Store in a cool dark place for two to three months, remembering to shake the jar every other day for the first two weeks.


6. After three months, strain the mixture, using a coffee filter or a muslin cloth, into a clean jar.


7. Bottle the strained liquid in the sterilized bottles and store. You will notice that the liquid turns from a golden yellow to a beautiful amber color. It is then ready for consumption.
