What Is The Difference Between Honey Loaf & Chopped Ham

Honey loaf and chopped ham loaf recipes both refer to varieties of meat loaf dishes, or dishes that include chopped up meat, seasonings and sauces cooked in the oven to create a "loaf" of flavored meat.

Honey Loaf

Honey loaf refers to various combinations of meat, honey, seasonings and sauce ingredients to create a honey-flavored meatloaf. Honey loaf recipes are useful for creating new entrees from beef or pork leftovers.

Chopped Ham

Chopped ham is a form of meatloaf made from chopped ham pieces, seasonings and sauce ingredients. The ham may be chopped by hand or ground using a meat grinder.

Differences

Honey loaf recipes refer specifically to meat loaf recipes that include honey and can be made with almost any type of meat, such as pork, ham or beef. Unlike honey loaf recipes, chopped ham recipes refer specifically to meat loaf recipes based on ham that do not include honey as an ingredient.
