Make Pancakes With Dog Faces

Refrigerate extra pancakes made on the weekend to enjoy any morning of the week.

Fluffy pancakes are a special treat usually reserved for lazy Saturday or Sunday mornings, when mom or dad has extra time to fire up the griddle and create the perfect pancake for the kids. Regular circle-shaped pancakes are great, but it is simple to make cute and delicious dog-shaped pancakes.

Instructions

1. Pour the pancake batter into the uncapped squeeze bottle.

2. Replace the squeeze bottle's lid securely.

3. Squeeze the pancake batter onto a hot, nonstick griddle into the outline of a dog's head. Add dot eyes, nose, mouth and ears.

4. Allow the batter to brown for 30 to 45 seconds.

5. Fill in the dog's head and ears with more batter, completely covering the original batter.

6. Cook until bubbles appear on the exposed surface of the pancake.

7. Flip pancakes and continue to cook for another 30 to 45 seconds, or until pancakes are browned on the other side.
