Instructions


1. Choose the two favorite cake flavors of the special person who is celebrating their 21st birthday party. In order to refrain from being obvious, find this out a month or so before the birthday if it isn't knowledge you already possess.Get together two pans that are shaped as number "2" and "1." These can be find at most craft stores, including Michaels. You can also find them online and at auctions.


2. Preheat the oven, according to your cake box recipe. It will usually be between 350 to 400 degrees.


3. Mix both flavor cake mixes.


4. Oil both cake pans. Put one of the flavors in the "2" pan, and place the other flavor in the "1" pan.








5. Place both cake pans in the oven simultaneously. They should bake side by side. Bake for approximately 30 minutes, making sure to follow the instructions on the boxed cake mix.


6. Check on the cake by pricking it with a toothpick. When the toothpick comes out clean, your cake is ready.


7. Arrange both pans on a platter so that the 21 is perfectly centered. Release the cakes from the pans.


8. Let your cakes cool.


9. Decorate with the icing and candles.
