Catch A Fly In A Vinegar Bottle

Fruit flies are bothersome insects that can invade your home or garden and quickly multiply. The flies are attracted to the smell of vinegar. Creating a trap with vinegar and dish soap effectively eliminates the flies. When the flies try to land, the dish soap does not allow the flies to sit on the surface. The fruit flies will fall into the vinegar and drown. Placing the vinegar bottle traps in the location where you notice the pests will allow you to remove them naturally without the need of chemical products.

Instructions

1. Pour 1 cup of apple cider vinegar into a jar or bottle.

2. Add 2 tsp. of a liquid dish detergent to the vinegar.

3. Place the vinegar bottle in the location where you have noticed fruit flies. Examine the jar or bottle to ensure that the flies appear attracted to the vinegar. Move the jar or bottle to a different location until you attract the flies.

4. Replace the vinegar every 2 to 3 days until you kill all the fruit flies.
