Make A Mcdonald'S Sausage And Egg Mcmuffin At Home

Why go through the drive through when you can have it fresh from your own kitchen?

Treat your family at home to a sausage and egg muffin sandwich just like you can get in a fast food restaurant. The key to making your eggs round like it's done under the Golden Arches is to fry them inside an egg ring.

Instructions

1. Warm a skillet on the stove on medium heat. Place the two halves of the English muffin in the toaster.

2. Cut the roll of Jimmy Dean Sausage into slices. Place a slice of sausage in the skillet and cook thoroughly, turning once.

3. Prepare your egg ring by spraying it with cooking spray to keep the egg from sticking. Spray both the inside and outside of the ring.

4. Crack an egg into the egg ring. Quickly stir up the yolk with a fork to blend it with the egg white. Remove the egg ring from the skillet and flip the egg when it begins to solidify.

5. Split apart a muffin and place the two halves in the toaster. You may butter the muffins after toasting, if desired.

6. Remove the sausage and egg from the skillet and compile your sandwich. Place the sausage on one half of the muffin. Top the sausage with the egg and crown it with the other half of the muffin.
