Sour Cream & Grape Salad

Always choose fresh grapes for your salad.

A sour cream and grape salad is a light, sweet dish to serve as an appetizer or dessert. The salad works well to cool you and your guests down on a hot summer day, so serve it cold. Making a sour cream and grape salad requires only basic ingredients from your local grocer. Start the recipe at least six hours before you plan to serve it to allow enough time for it to chill.

Instructions

1. Rinse the red and green seedless grapes in cold water and remove them from their stems. Set the grapes to the side.

2. Combine 1 cup of sour cream, 1 cup of cream cheese and 3/4 cup of white sugar in a large salad bowl. Stir with a large spoon until all of the ingredients are well mixed.

3. Add the grapes into the sour cream mixture and stir with the large spoon. Continue stirring until all of the grapes are coated in an even layer with the sour cream mixture.

4. Sprinkle 1 cup of crushed pecans over the top of the salad and refrigerate for six hours before serving.
