Audi Le Mans Specs

With its wide, aggressive stance and bullish appearance, the mid-engined Audi Le Mans Quattro Concept has clearly inherited its genealogy from Audi's flagship street-driving machine, the R8. This high-performance super car is special in that it not only offers outlandish performance figures, massive power reserves and sleek, bleeding-edge design, but it also provides generous interior space for both driver and passenger.

Engine

At the heart of the Audi Le Mans Quattro Concept roars a 90-degree V-10 twin turbo, displacing 302.7 cubic inches of fuel, muscling out 553 foot-pounds of torque at 1,750 revolutions per minute and producing 610 brake horsepower. This machine will rocket from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 3.6 seconds, and flat out you'll be doing 155 miles per hour. The cylinders are allotted four valves each in a double-overhead-cam configuration, and fuel is delivered via multipoint sequential fuel injection. The engine has a bore of 3.2 inches, a stroke of 3.7 inches and a compression ratio of 11.0 to 1.

Drivetrain

The body of the Audi Le Mans is crafted of an aluminum space-frame. Gears are shifted inside a six-speed sequential gearbox, and the power is sent to all four wheels. The car rumbles on double wishbone suspension with coil springs over dampers, and it slows in the corners with ventilated disc brakes at the front and rear with an antilock braking system.

Dimensions

The Audi Le Mans measures in at 172 inches long, 74.7 inches wide, 49.2 inches high, and has a wheelbase of 104.3 inches. The car weighs just 3,373 lbs., which gives it a power to weight ratio of 0.18 brake horse power per pound.
