Hollister is a fashion company and a brand of Abercrombie Fitch that sells trendy clothes. With the popularity of the Southern California-style fashions, many men and women are interested in modeling for the company.
Instructions
1. Look at the models in Hollister advertisements and determine if you fit the look the fashion company is going for. Hollister models are usually tall, thin and fit. Because models sometimes have to pose in swimwear and form-fitting clothing, you need to be in shape.
2. Get photos taken. They don't have to be professional. They just need to be clear. After you have taken a few photos, get several copies of your best pictures made.
3. Get photos taken if you don't already have some. Ask someone with a digital camera to take a few photos of you. Be sure to take a variety of pictures including headshots, 3/4 shots and full body shots. Your photos do not have to be professional, as most top modeling agencies prefer snapshots or Polaroids that are clear and show your natural look. If a modeling agency is interested in you, they will refer you to a fashion photographer to get professional photographs. If you are an experienced model with a modeling portfolio, you can submit copies of your professional pictures or modeling comp cards if you have some already made.
4. Download your photos onto your computer. Look through your pictures and choose your best headshot, 3/4 shot and full body shot. These three pictures are usually required when submitting your photos to modeling agencies.
5. Print copies of your photos to send to modeling agencies. If you have a printer, print out a few copies of your photos. If you don't have access to a printer, save your photos onto a disc in a digital file. You can take the disc to a printing company and have them print out copies for you.
6. Mail your photos to Ford Modeling Agency, Elite Modeling Agency or other top modeling agencies that work with Hollister. Include a cover letter with a brief bio including any modeling experience you have. Include your contact information and your measurements such as height, weight and clothing sizes.
7. Work with a modeling agency to model for Hollister. Find a modeling agency list. You can find the contact information of modeling agencies online at http://www.allcastingcalls.com or http://www.allmodeling.com and when you hear back from a modeling agency that is interested in working with you, ask your modeling agent if they could provide you with any advice on become a model for Hollister. Your agent will work with you and will provide you with feedback on what next steps you need to take to pursue modeling for Hollister.
