Make An Ice Cream Punch Recipe For Any Occasion

Sweeten the party with an ice cream punch.

An ice cream punch is a delicious and smooth drink that adds a wonderful touch to a celebration. While the basics are the same, you can mix and match the flavors and coloring to suit any theme. Don't be afraid to experiment -- it's pretty hard to mess up an ice cream punch.

Instructions

1. Mix a package of fruit punch mix with 4 liters of lemon-lime soda in a large punch bowl. Scoop in up to 1 quart of vanilla ice cream. The ice cream will create puffy clouds in the drink. Top with ice cream mixed with a garnish of flowers, fruit slices or sprinkles for an extra special touch.

2. Try a chocolate version. Pour 1/2 cup chocolate syrup in a punch bowl, scoop in up to 1 quart of chocolate ice cream and then top with another 1/2 cup of chocolate syrup. Slowly pour most of 4 liters of lemon-lime soda over the ice cream. Use a long spoon to stir the syrup up from the bottom. Add more lemon-lime soda until bubbles form on top. This could be great as a Valentine's day drink.

3. Create a spooky brew with 4 liters of orange soda or 2 liters of orange and 2 liters of lemon-lime. Pour the soda into the punch bowl and scoop in a quart of orange sherbet. To make a more bloody looking Halloween drink, replace the orange soda with a darker color, such as cherry, and replace the orange sherbet with a red sherbet, such as raspberry.
