Eliminate Late Night Cravings

Many people have a hard time refraining from eating at night. For some, this could be just a nasty habit. For others, it could result from nasty cravings that arrive in the night. Taking care of these cravings is a lot easier than you may believe because mostly it is about a change in lifestyle. Here is eliminate late night cravings.

Instructions

1. Eat more frequently during the day. Instead of eating a few large meals during your day, eat roughly five or six smaller meals. This will keep you from being hungry both during the day and late at night.

2. Eliminate drinks with caffeine from your evenings. The more awake you are in the evening, the more likely you are to experience late night cravings. If you're tired at night, you'll crave sleep more than food.

3. Avoid drinking soda and alcoholic beverages in the evening. Carbonated and alcoholic beverages have been known to actually increase appetite in many people.

4. Drink at least four or five glasses of water in the late afternoon and early evening. Water will fill your stomach up more than other drinks, thus causing you to not feel hungry. If you're not hungry, you won't eat at night.

5. Eat plenty of fruits in the early evenings. Much like water, fruits fill your stomach up and satiate your hunger. Apples, for instance, fill your stomach up more because of the water content found in them. Once again, the point here is to eliminate any appetite you may have during the night.

6. Have your largest meal in the evening. This may sound like a no-brainer but the truth is that if you eat a large meal later in the day, you won't be hungry. Having a full belly is the easiest way to eliminating any late night cravings you could have.

7. Go to sleep at a reasonable hour. A simple way to eliminate late night cravings is by not being awake late at night.
