Make A Strawberry Layer Salad

Strawberry layer salad is a Jell-o fruit salad that is inexpensive to make. Strawberry layer salad can be used as a salad or as a dessert. This salad can be made with a sugar substitute and sugar-free Jell-o for diabetics or for people who are watching their sugar intake. Read on to learn more.


Instructions


1. Allow frozen strawberries to thaw.


2. Boil water in a sauce pan over high heat.


3. Mix the strawberry and unflavored gelatin into the water.


4. Add thawed strawberries and pineapple to the Jell-o and mix until well blended.


5. Slice the bananas into thin or thick pieces. Their thickness is up to you.


6. Add bananas and nuts to the Jell-o and sir until mixed.


7. Pour half the Jell-o mix into the bottom of a 9-by-13 pan.


8. Place in the refrigerator and allow the mix to set.


9. Mix the sour cream and the sugar.


10. Spread evenly over the gelled mix.


11. Pour the remaining mixture over the sour cream.


12. Chill for several hours in the refrigerator until the top layer of the strawberry layer salad is congealed.








13. Top with whipped cream and serve.
