Make A Perfect Cheesecake

Make the perfect cheesecake with a little practice.

Cheesecake is a tasty dessert that is made with cream cheese, eggs, sour cream and sugar in a graham cracker crust. The dessert tends to take a little practice before being perfect. The key is to work the cheesecake batter slowly, so that you evenly mix but don't over mix the ingredients. You also need to use a spring form pan so that the cheesecake is easily removed. Once you've perfected a simple cheesecake, you can add a variety of toppings. Fruits, such as strawberries, raspberries, or cherries, chocolate, peanut butter or nuts can all be used to add flavor to a cheesecake.

Instructions

1. Melt the butter and mix with 4 tbsp. sugar, cinnamon and graham cracker crumbs. You should have a crumbly mixture.

2. Press the graham cracker mixture into the spring form pan, making sure to coat the sides and the bottom of the pan.

3. Beat the cream cheese and sugar together.

4. Add the eggs one at a time and stir gently to mix.

5. Add the vanilla and salt and continue to gently mix.

6. Fold the sour cream into the cream cheese batter.

7. Put the cheesecake batter into the spring form pan.

8. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

9. Remove the cheesecake from the oven and let cool for 45 minutes before removing from the pan.
