Aquasource manufactures two basic styles of kitchen faucets. The first style is a solid unit with a lever on top. You lift the lever up and move it to the right for cold water and then move it to the left to blend in hot water. The second unit uses a faucet equipped with two separately mounted water shut-off valves. To use the first faucet, you must have a single hole in your countertop. To use the second faucet, you must have three individual holes located in a row on your countertop.
Instructions
1. Place the rubber O-ring gasket onto the threaded posts on the bottom of the faucet. If you have the faucet with separate shut-off valves, place O-ring gaskets on the faucet and the valves.
2. Place the faucet through the hole in the top of the countertop. If you have the faucet with separate shut-off valves, place both shut-off valves through the holes beside the faucet. The valve marked with an H or Hot goes on the left. The valve marked with a C or Cold goes on the right.
3. Thread the retaining nut onto the threaded shaft of the faucet and tighten it with a pipe wrench. If you have the faucet with separate shut-off valves, secure the shut-off valves in the same manner.
4. Connect the faucet to the shut-off valves. If you have a single-unit without countertop mounted shut-off valves, connect the hoses from the faucet to the shut-off valves connected to the water supply under the sink. Otherwise, connect the hoses on the faucet to the couplers on the countertop mounted shut-off valves.
5. Connect the countertop mounted shut-off valves to the water supply shut-off valves located under the sink with water line hoses. This only applies if you have the faucet with separate shut-off valves.
Tips Warnings
Make sure you apply plumbing tape around all threads as you make the hose connection. This will prevent water leaks.
