Papas Family Restaurants in Houston, Texas
H.D. Pappas began the Pappas Restaurant business by opening his first restaurants in Texas, Arkansas and Tennessee; in 1976, his sons joined him in the restaurant business. Today, the Pappas Restaurant chain is a multi-generational affair, operating restaurants in Texas, Colorado, Arizona, Illinois, Ohio, New Mexico and Georgia.
The Pappas Restaurant chain includes a variety of restaurant styles, from steak to Cajun to Tex-Mex to burgers.
Pappasito's Cantina
As of August 2010, the Tex-Mex Pappasito's Cantina is famous for large buildings and border town decor. This arm of the Pappas Restaurants enterprise offers such specialties as ceviche, shrimp brochette, tamales, ribs, beef fajitas and margaritas. Of course, the usual queso, chips, pico de gallo and guacamole are always available. In addition to dining in, Pappasito's Cantina also offers to-go options, catering services and large party rooms.
