Make Marshmallow Fruit Salad

Marshmallows make a great addition to your fruit salad.

Fruit salads often pop up around the holidays, but they are a treat that can be enjoyed year-round. They make great snacks and are a quick and easy way to get in a full serving of fruit. This recipe takes very little time to prepare and can last in your refrigerator for up to two weeks. Your family is sure to love this tasty salad, which is loaded with fresh fruit, marshmallows and whipped cream.

Instructions

1. Chop peaches, pears, strawberries and apples into small bite-size pieces and pour into a large mixing bowl. Mandarin oranges and pineapples do not have to be chopped; simply drain the juice and pour these into the bowl.

2. Open your tub of whipped cream and slowly mix it in with the fruit. Stir well.

3. Cut open the bag of marshmallows and add them into the mixture. Use a large spoon for stirring, as this makes a very large batch. The juices from the fruit will settle to the bottom, so make sure to stir it well.

4. Mix all ingredients well and refrigerate for two hours, if time allows. Refrigeration isn't absolutely necessary but will give the juices time to soak into the marshmallows and make the salad taste better. Stir well each time before serving, as juices will settle on the bottom of the bowl.
