Make Hot Spinach Dip

Hot spinach dip is a creamy mixture of chopped spinach and cheese baked together to form a rich appetizer. It can be served with a variety of items, such as tortilla chips, raw vegetables or toasted bread. Although individual chefs may put their own spins on hot spinach dip, the basic version makes regular appearances at casual get-togethers. If you want to make a crowd-pleasing dish with little time or effort, whip up a quick batch of hot spinach dip.

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray your baking dish thoroughly with nonstick cooking spray.

2. Place the package of frozen chopped spinach into the microwave and heat on "High" for five minutes or until thawed. Remove the spinach from the package and squeeze out the excess water.

3. Place the spinach into a large bowl, then add 1/2 cup each of mayonnaise and sour cream. Stir until the mixture is thoroughly combined, then stir in 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese.

4. Pour the spinach mixture into the baking dish and use a spoon to spread it in an even layer. Top the spinach mixture with 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese.

5. Bake the dip for 30 minutes or until the top is golden. Let it cool for about 10 minutes, then serve warm.
