Remove Burned Food From Glass Cookware

Glass cookware is some of the most versatile stuff on the market. It's hard to damage the finish, and it's pretty easy to clean. If you find yourself with burned food on your glass, there are a few things you can do to clean it off quickly and easily.

Instructions

1. Add a little water. It's one of the simplest things that you can add to the to a glass dish to get that burned-on food free fast. You can either fill the dish with water and let it sit overnight or add a little salt or baking soda to the mix for those really stubborn stains.

2. Turn on some heat. If plain water doesn't work, put the pot on the stove and let it simmer for a bit. The hotter the water, the more easily the food should come off.

3. Use some fizzy antacid tablets; they work in a dirty pot much like they would in your mouth. Fill the dish with water and drop about a half dozen antacid tablets and let them dissolve. The bubbles loosen the food and make it easier to clean off.

4. Lay a new or used dryer sheet in the bottom of the dish and cover it up with water. Let it sit for a few hours, and the burned-on food should slide right out with the water.

5. Put in a little elbow grease. If none of the above seem to do the trick, you may have to get a little steel wool and work out your aggression on that stubborn food spot.
