Bake Cookies From A Brownie Mix & Butter

Make chocolate cookies when you are in the mood for something sweet.

Brownie mix and butter are simple ingredients to keep on hand for those times that your sweet tooth is calling out to you. If you are craving cookies rather than brownies, brownie mix and butter can still be used to create moist, chocolate cookies quite easily. If you don't always keep butter and brownie mix in the house, go out and get some so you can quickly make these cookies when you need a tasty dessert.

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

2. Place half a stick of butter in a microwave-safe bowl and place in microwave for 15 seconds. Check to see that it is melted. If it is not melted, place the bowl back in the microwave for an additional 10 seconds. Put it aside.

3. Place a box of brownie mix, 1/4 cup flour, the melted butter, 3 tbsp. water and two eggs into a mixing bowl.

4. Mix until batter is smooth.

5. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.

6. Place the batter on the baking sheet with a teaspoon. Place the cookies an inch apart, because they will spread as they bake.

7. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Allow them to cool for 10 minutes on the baking sheet and place them on a cooling rack.
