If you live in or are visiting Kitsap County and have a craving for German food, there are many options at your disposal. Only one German restaurant is found within the county limits, but if you are willing to make the trek to Seattle, you can find a wealth of restaurants at your disposal. Whether you are looking for a sit-down place or a casual take-out joint, many options exist to sample genuine German food.
Tizley's Europub

Featuring great imported beers and classic German food, try the traditional gurken salat, or the German wurst sampler to name a couple of options. Bratz
Founded by two brothers who grew up in Germany, Bratz is quickly becoming a Seattle institution for serving genuine German food. Using only family recipes to create their food, the Bratz menu includes a wide range of brats along with schnitzel sandwiches, breaded pork cutlets and mushroom-topped schnitzel. Mainly a takeout joint, Bratz is great food on the go. Grab a seat on the patio and try one of their many mustard or ketchup varieties or one of their tasty desserts.
