Chicken tenders are a favorite among young and old alike.
A favorite among children and adults alike, chicken tenders are breaded or battered strips of white chicken that can be fried. Every cook has his own secret to achieving the juicy, golden crust found on the best fried chicken tenders. Some use one or more combinations of seasonings, batter and breading. A dipping sauce, such as barbecue sauce or ranch dressing, is often served with the chicken tenders, making them a fun-to-eat meat for kids.
Instructions
1. Rinse chicken tenders in cool running water, and pat dry with paper towels.
2. Place salt, pepper, paprika and flour into a large plastic bag. Add chicken tenders. Seal the bag, and shake to coat the tenders with the mixture.
3. Heat 1/4 inch of oil in a frying pan to about 350 degrees.
4. Remove chicken from the plastic bag. Shake off the excess flour, and place chicken in the hot oil to fry.
5. Cook the chicken for 6 to 8 minutes, turning once. They are done when both sides have reached a golden brown and any juices coming from the chicken run clear.
6. Remove the chicken tenders from the pan, and drain on paper towels.
