Types
Tofu comes in varieties based on its consistency and they are silken (very tender), medium, firm and extra firm. Tofu is also available pre-cooked in plain and flavored varieties.

Press the water out of extra firm tofu and cut it into small half-inched cubes. Stir fry tofu in oil in a frying pan or wok and then add stir fry vegetables and spices.

Use silken tofu in your favorite fruit smoothie to add protein and consistency. Silken tofu will blend easily into the smoothie with your favorite fruits.
