Vanilla vodka is versatile.
Vodka is a versatile liquor, as it is clear and does not have a strong smell or taste. Many different flavored vodkas are available in addition to plain vodka. One such variation is vanilla vodka. Cocktails that use vanilla vodka are sweet and tasty. Mix it with simple soda for an easy drink, or make a fancy cocktail.
Cider Bite
One tasty cocktail to make using vanilla vodka is called the Cider Bite, which has a tangy flavor. In addition to 1/2 oz. of vanilla vodka, add 1/2 oz. of citrus liqueur and 2 oz. of an energy drink. The vanilla in the vodka tempers the citrus flavor and the energy drink gives you a jolt while drinking it.
Cherry Cheesecake
For a cherry cheesecake shot, combine 1/2 oz. of vanilla vodka,1/2 oz. of grenadine syrup and throw in a splash of pineapple juice. Place the ingredients in a shaker and strain into the shot glass. This is a sweet cocktail with a bit of a tart flavor.
Headshot
Serve a headshot in a highball glass. Mix one shot of regular vodka, one shot of vanilla vodka and one shot of raspberry vodka. Add the mixture to half a glass of orange juice. The vanilla and berry flavors temper the citrus flavor.
Yellow Cake Shot
A yellow cake shot is sweet and rich. Mix 1/3 oz. of vanilla vodka, 1/3 oz. of pineapple juice and 1/3 oz. of triple sec liquor. Mix the ingredients with ice and strain into a shot glass.
